Dr Bill Cope
Director, Centre for Workplace Communication and Culture
| Bill Cope is Director of the Centre for
Workplace Communication and Culture, a research and training
centre affiliated with RMIT University in Melbourne. He was First
Assistant Secretary in the Department of the Prime Minister and
Cabinet and Director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs in
1995-1996. Born in Manly, Sydney and of Anglo and Irish extraction,
he is an Australian historian by training. His research and writing
crosses a number of disciplines, including history, education
and sociology; and examines themes as varied as Australian immigration,
workplace change and literacy learning. |
