Bionote:
Margherita is four foot tall in a six foot world. She has overcome barriers in her personal and professional lives by continually stepping out of her own comfort zone and taking responsibility for what she creates. Margherita was awarded the inaugural Olive Zakharov Scholarship offered by the Council for Equal Opportunity in Employment in conjunction with Waite Consulting, to attend the Top Steps Career Development program.

Margherita has worked as an employment counsellor and training consultant and project manager within both the public and private sectors. Her areas of expertise include speaker/presenter, vocational counselling, training and workshop facilitation, project management, disabilities issues, institutionalised up-bringing, working with the unemployed and working with Diversity issues within a business sector.

Most recent Disability consultancy with organisations such: Westpac Banking Corporation, Australia Post, Ansett, Surf Coast Shire CEOE, AMP, Ansett, Southern Success Business Board (SA), Women with Disabilities in Australia Peak organisation, FACS, etc

Throughout her working life, Margherita has been involved with a number of community groups. Her most recent been the appointment onto the Action on Disability within the Ethnic Communities' Board, through Vic Women. And other roles includes; part of Management collective for the Victoria Women with Disabilities Network Inc., Treasurer on the National Committee for Women with Disabilities in Australia and National Consumer member on the National Centrelink Disability & Carer Reference Group

Since 1981, Margherita has performed the role of public speaker on a number of occasions, presenting to Corporate presentations, Education Institutions, Rotary Clubs, Chambers of Commerce, Councils and numerous other audiences. She has undertaken Television and Radio interviews and has also appeared in videos regarding disabilities. Also featured in "The Australian Magazine" Life Lines section early 1999 and Noel Wait's book "The Gold Within" launched in 2000. She was also a presenter in the Inaugural National Office Status of Women's Conference held in Canberra in August 2001

Margherita's greatest asset is her spontaneous sense of humour and her passion for empowering her audience.
